This electric throw blanket brings steady warmth to the couch, the bed or the desk chair on cold evenings. The soft double-layer flannel covers an adult from shoulders to feet at 59 x 71 in, and thin heating wires run through the stitched channels so the heat spreads across the whole throw instead of one warm spot. It is a warm blanket even when unplugged, and an electric heated blanket when you switch it on.

The handheld controller keeps things simple: choose one of 6 heat levels with TEMP + and TEMP -, set one of 3 timer settings with the TIME button so the heated blanket switches itself off, or press the moon button for sleep mode. The lit display shows the level you picked, so you can turn the warmth down once you are cozy. Like any electric blanket, it plugs into a standard wall outlet; it draws 150 W, a fraction of what a space heater uses to warm a whole room.

Like other heated blankets and throws, it is easy to move around: use it as a heated throw on the sofa while you read or watch a movie, over your lap at a cold home office, or on top of your bedding to warm up before sleep. When it needs a clean, unplug the controller and machine wash the plush flannel. Not for infants, young children or anyone who can't operate the controller.

How warm does it get?

You choose from 6 heat levels on the controller. Start on a higher level to warm up, then step down once you're comfortable.

Does it switch off by itself?

Yes, when you set one of the 3 timer settings it switches off at the end. Don't use it folded or bunched up, keep it dry, and don't use it for infants or anyone who can't operate the controller.

Can I wash it?

Yes. Unplug the controller from the blanket, machine wash the throw on a gentle cycle and let it dry completely before plugging it back in.

Which plug does it have?

Choose a US plug (110 V) for US and Canadian outlets, or an EU plug for European outlets. There is no UK or Australian plug version.

How big is it?
