A good tree starts with a steady base. This metal Christmas tree stand has four curved legs and a central sleeve that holds the trunk of a small or tabletop artificial tree upright, so you can spend your time decorating instead of propping the tree up. Slide the trunk into the sleeve, tighten the two wing screws, and the tree is ready to dress.

The frame is made of dark green powder-coated steel tubing. Thin metal braces run between the legs to keep them spaced, and a black rubber cap on each foot helps protect hardwood, tile and laminate floors. The legs fold flat, so the stand takes up very little room in the box when the season ends. It does not rotate and it has no motor or plug; it is a classic fixed stand.

Choose the leg span that suits your tree: 12 in, 14 in, 16 in, 18 in or 20 in with a 0.75 in (19 mm) trunk opening, or 24 in with a 0.87 in (22 mm) opening. Measure your trunk before ordering. The stand is made for small and tabletop trees and is not designed for large, heavy or live trees. A bag of screws is included.
