Description

When snow piles up around a snowmobile, a parked car or the end of the driveway, a full-size shovel is rarely the one within reach. This telescoping aluminum snow shovel is built to stay in the trunk, the truck bed or on the sled, then pull out to working length when you need it.

The wide anodized aluminum blade measures about 8.3 x 11 in and has a raised center rib that runs up into the shaft for stiffness. The two-section shaft slides out to roughly 34 in and shortens to about 26 in for storage. A black T-shaped grip at the top gives you a firm two-handed hold in gloves, and a black sleeve on the shaft helps keep your hands off bare cold metal.

It weighs around 1.3 lb, so it is easy to carry on a snowmobile trip, a camping weekend or a winter drive. Use it to dig out a wheel, clear a parking spot, open a path to the door or pack out a campsite. The shaft locks at the length you set, so you can work standing up or crouched beside a buried tire. Choose red, blue or gold; the shovel itself is identical in every colour. Sold as a single shovel.

Why you need one

Snow buries you where no shovel is

Snow drifts around a wheel, a sled or a doorway, and the full-size shovel is back in the garage. A compact shovel kept with the vehicle solves that.
